A high-powered delegation from the Embassy of the United States of America led by Madam Alyson Grunder, Deputy Chief of Mission, on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 paid a courtesy visit on Labour Minister Chief Moses Yarkpazuo Kollie and team at the Ministerial Complex in Congo town.
The visit is in continuation of ongoing discussions and collaborations regarding the collective fight against all forms of Child Labour and Trafficking In Person which the Governments of Liberia and the United States of America consider as an important fight.
The Embassy delegation led by Madam Alyson Grunder, Deputy Chief of Mission at the United States of America Embassy near Monrovia was also accompanied by Mr. Joel Kopp, Political and Economic Counselor as well as Mr. Juan D. Martinez,Political Officer.
During the meeting, Labour Minister Chief Moses Yarkpazuo Kollie thanked Madam Grunder and team for the visit and reassured them of the Ministry’s continue engagements and collaborations in ensuring that both Trafficking in Persons and Child Labour are reduce in the country.
The Labour Ministry team during the meeting included, Deputy Minister for Administration Madam Yvette Freeman and other senior members of the Ministry.
